- Shareholder agreement dated 31 May 2023 (PDF)
- zedela gUG pursues the goal of a just and inclusive society in which the structural affiliation and participation of all is ensured and the democratic community can be shaped equally and in everyday life by all. The association’s work is committed to human rights standards and is based on analyses that are critical of racism and discrimination, movement knowledge and real-life experiences. These make it clear time and again that the reduction of intersectional discrimination, particularly with regard to racism, as well as the active promotion of empowerment, diversity orientation and equality require, among other things, a long-term perspective, resilient relationships and working in multi-professional networks. The organisation works with stakeholders who can credibly demonstrate that they are interested in genuine participation and the elimination of structural discrimination.
- Society’s contribution results from the triad of research, leadership and advocacy. Applied research is characterised by the combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. It makes a fundamental contribution to professionalisation, inclusive decision-making and the fair distribution of resources in the pluralistic immigration society. zedela supports, advises and strengthens actors, their structures, competencies and organisations with regard to (anti-)discrimination, diversity orientation and community-oriented or inclusive leadership in all areas of society and addresses both those affected by discrimination (empowerment) and the structurally privileged (power sharing). A consistent focus on the practical relevance of the work, the development of strategies, arguments, networks and policy options ensures that society also has an impact at an advocacy and structural level through communication, publicity and information formats.
